The Greenberg Group

HBDI Instructions

As part of your upcoming meeting, we will spend a couple of hours examining your individual and team thinking preferences using an on-line assessment tool called the Herrmann Brain Dominance Instrument (HBDI). Keep in mind, individual results are for your eyes only, unless you wish to share them with others. We will explore how thinking preferences impact how you work, interact with each other, and lead the organization.

How to complete the on-line form…
Please complete the on-line profile, which should take you approximately 20 minutes. HBDI will then process all of the profiles and provide me with your individual and team results in time for our meeting. All you need to do is go to the following web site:
www.hbdi.com

  • In the upper left-hand corner of the page, double click on Complete Your Assessment
  • Double click on My assessment has been pre-arranged and I have been given an access key. I would like to complete the questionnaire in English.
  • You'll be prompted to type in your "key," which is _________. Click Continue
  • Click on the group with my name - Herrmann International - USA, Margaret Greenberg
  • Fill out the survey and submit it.

That's all there is to it. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to call (860-742-2380) or e-mail me at margaret@thegreenberggroup.org.

A little about the HBDI…
Ned Herrmann, who was head of Leadership Development at GE, created the HBDI nearly twenty years ago. Since then the profile has been used in a variety of business and educational settings, many of which are Fortune 100 companies and major educational institutions. Those of you who are familiar with the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) know that it measures personality preferences and is grounded in psychology. The HBDI measures thinking preferences and is grounded in physiology.
